Quotables: Miley Cyrus Has it All Backwards

So if you were like most people watching Miley Cyrus' new "Wrecking Ball" video, then you might have had a pretty important question that once or twice crossed your mind, and it probably wasn't "Why is Miley Cyrus deep-throating a sledgehammer?" No, it was likely, "Hey, this is a really interesting video, save for the deep-throating of that sledgehammer, and I'm pretty curious about the meaning behind it, aren't you?"

Don't worry, though, because Miley's here to explain it all to you -- it just isn't what you'd expect, really. Take it away, Miles:

“I think the video is much more. If people get past the point I make, and you actually look at me, you can tell I look more broken than even the song sounds. ... If people can take their minds off the obvious and go into their imagination and see what the video really means, it is so vulnerable. … If you look at my eyes, I look more sad than actually my voice sounds on the record. It was a lot harder to actually do the video than it was to even record the song. It was much more of an emotional experience.”

So essentially, she's naked because she's sad, and she's broken because she's naked -- that seems to be Miley summing it up. Personally, however, I think it's the other way around, and that she's broken because she can't stop making "f--- me" eyes into the camera and won't stop licking the sledgehammer. Pretty sure that cries "Broken!" a little bit more than just looking sad and being naked, right?
