UPDATED Memo to Miranda Kerr: Step Away From the Photoshop and Grow Up, Jackass

UPDATED: Miranda says that she had "no idea" that the image had been Photoshopped. Uh-huh:

"Hi guys, here is the original VS image! When I re-posted the photo this week to support the girls I screen grabbed it off the internet when I was working in Japan. I had no idea it was photoshopped. All good intentions- sorry for the confusion and congratulations to the girls for such a great show!"

So here's the thing, if you didn't already notice it -- Miranda Kerr is a jackass. A complete and total jackass who ... oh. You already did notice that? Well, then, the second, less obvious thing shouldn't come as much of a surprise.

As you can see, the photo on the left is a photo of Miranda and company during a Victoria's Secret fashion function that was held last year. That photo right there was posted on Miranda's Instagram around this time a year ago, and over the last few days, in light of the most recent Victoria's Secret fashion show, Miranda went and regurgitated the same photo ... just with an obvious -- and major -- revamp: her waist in the second photo was made to look clearly, clearly much narrower than that of the first.

Cue that jackass reference.

Does Miranda actually want us to think that her photo lost weight over the last year? That her split with Orlando Bloom apparently played some kind of major role in her stress slimdown? Because girl -- that's not real life you know, right? PHOTOS CAN'T LOSE WEIGHT.

Moreover, here's an infinitely more important question: what the hell is the matter with you, a Victoria's Secret model, one of the most beautiful women on the planet, that you'd feel the need to Photoshop yourself to look even "better"? Stop being so stupid and so bloody dangerous -- there's a whole world out there who aren't nearly as "perfect" as you are and who are highly impressionable to boot. Quit looking the gift horse in the mouth and count your many blessings. Damn.
