Quotables: Jessica Hart Needs to Look Up the Term "Damage Control," Because This Isn't It

"I adore Taylor Swift, and I was so excited to be with her at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show. What Taylor does on stage is nothing compared to what we do. I could never get up there and do what she does! She is a true rock star and she absolutely killed it the other night. Her song 'Pieces' was one of my favorite songs, and I own her first ever CD. I can't imagine why I would have said anything bad about her."
--Victoria's Secret model Jessica Hart, who, just over the last few days, said that there was no way Taylor Swift could ever hack it as a VS model, and how she totally didn't "fit in" on the runway.
The comments were made at the VS show's afterparty, and were brought to light this past week. Hart was quick to say that she'd never intended to say anything "mean" about Taylor, and a rep for Victoria's Secret also complained that Hart's comments were "misinterpreted."
All back and forth aside, here's an important career note, girl -- when not many people know who you actually are to begin with, you might not want to lambaste those who are -- and will continue to be, for a very, very, very long time -- infinitely more famous than you could ever hope to be. Let's take this as a lesson learned and move on, shall we?
