Quotables: George Takei Is, For Once, Wrong

"I don't know what all this hoo-ha about Ryan Gosling is about. He's more often boring than not. I mean, he's an all right actor, but I don't think he's as gripping and compelling as people like Matt Damon or George Clooney."

--National treasure George Takei sullies his perfect reputation (just a tiny bit) by denying the majesty that is Ryan Gosling.

Honestly, all George is saying here is that he's never seen "The Notebook" or heard Ryan talk about Disneyland. That's all this is. If George had done those things, he would never again have to wonder about the "hoo-ha." He would know in his heart that Ryan Gosling is a beautiful gift sent to an undeserving world. He would know that of course you can't compare him to Matt Damon and George Clooney (give him a few years on that one, all right?), but you don't have to, because Ryan has a magic all his own. And seriously, have you heard how cute he is when he talks about Disneyland?!

We love you forever, George, but this? This just isn't right.
