Joan Rivers is the Biggest Hypocrite in the Whole Entire World

Joan Rivers is not funny. She never really has been, basically is a has-been, and her latest remarks about Lena Dunham's weight, of all things, have firmly placedher in "Douchebagsof the Century" category -- you know, the very same one in which Chris Brown, John Mayer, and Kathy Griffin reside.

Here's what Joan said in a recent interview with Howard Stern:

"[Lena is] sending a message out to people saying it's OK, stay fat, get diabetes, everybody die. Lose your fingers. ... I love that she's funny, I love that she did well ... but don't let them laugh at you physically. ... If you look the way you look, Lena, and that's fine and you're funny, don't say it's okay that other girls can look like this. Try to look better."
Wait, wha ...? I'm completely agog. Did Joan Rivers -- the Joan Rivers who so obviously hates herself to the point of making herself unrecognizable with terrible plastic surgery -- really just give Lena Dunham (who's got some of the most realistic expectations of herself and other women of all female Hollywood leads) body confidence advice? Did that just happen? Did she also just refer to Lena as "fat" and tell her to "look better," as if it's any of Joan's business whatsoever what goes on in Lena's mind about Lena's body and, oh right, LENA'S BODY?

Joan Rivers seriously needs to lay off. Like, truly. When you're in the -- ah -- physical position that you are because you so apparently despise aging and real life and basically anything resembling any kind of normalcy, then maybe it's time to just check out of this business altogether, because damn, Joan -- wrong, harsh, and just chock full of complete hypocrisy.
