Looks Like "True Blood" Produces Some Giant, Giant Creepers

Unless you watch "True Blood," and maybe even then, you might be wondering who this dude is and why you should even care what kind of creepiness he's into. And, well, this dude is named Jim Parrack, he plays Hoyt on "True Blood," and you should care what kind of creepiness he's into because it's extra super insanely creepy.

Jim here did an interview with "Vulture," and he had a mighty interesting, mighty disturbing conversation. The interviewer kicked things off by telling this story about how one time he heard Jim say that he wanted to drink blood and thought he was making a reference to "True Blood":

"Oh! Interesting. No, that’s not what it was. I was being literal. I like the real deal."

And here are Jim's totally legit, not at all creepy reasons for actually drinking actual blood:

"Um, I guess for the same reason some people want alcohol? Or for the same reason some people want, I don’t know … milk? Or Kool-Aid?"

But don't worry, he doesn't drink blood all the time:

"I wouldn’t say regular, no. No, not regular."

But he does drink blood sometimes, because he's super intense like that:

"I don’t know. Maybe a couple times a year? It’s more like on an impulse. When you make me spell it out like this, it sounds strange, but I just want to be clear — that night, I was being literal. There was something about that night where I had that impulse. I guess the best way to put it is sometimes I just like the way it tastes."

And it OK, because he's really safe about it:

"Absolutely. I’m absolutely particular. It’s not like it’s just anybody’s! That particular night, it was my girl. Yeah."

It's not like he's drinking animal blood, you freaks:

"That to me does not sound appealing. No, I don’t mean copious amounts of blood. I’m not getting a glass of it or something. But if you drink it, it does something to you emotionally. It’s hard to describe. It’s kind of like you’re in the moment, and the impulse comes, and … I like it."

And see, now a few things have happened. One, we're talking about "True Blood," which is kind of special since it's not 2009, and two, we're talking about Jim Parrack, which is special because, bless his heart, do we really have to finish that thought? But three, and this is the major one, we're talking about "True Blood" and Jim Parrack because he thoroughly discussed drinking real human blood with a major publication. That's where we are as a people, that little known television actors are willing to sound like the grossest douchebags in the world to get some attention. And if that's not the saddest thing you've heard all day, then friend, I feel sorry for you.
