So Tom Hanks' Hot Son Has a Smooth New Song Out

So ol' Chet Haze -- or as some people know him, Chester Hanks, son of the Tom Hanks, and who now seems to have rebranded himself as Chet Hanx -- has put out some new music ... and it's pretty great, all things considered (and by "all things," we mean "all new music that's come out over the last few years").

We talked to Chet and he gave us some exclusive info on the single -- he wouldn't allude to who the song was about, and despite rumors that he'd recently been linked to "Love and Hip Hop's" Hazel E, he claims "no comment" on the song-woman in question, and says that he and the gorgeous Hazel are just friends.

Chet's releasing an EP in or around January titled "Shadow of the Spotlight," an aptly-titled album -- and a pretty creative one, too -- and we're pretty stoked about his new music. It's not to say that his old music was inferior (because that video for "Do It Better" was pretty damn smooth) -- we're just excited to hear Chet's sound evolve.

In conclusion, the one and only thing we've got to say about this video before we turn it over to y'all for your consumption and criticism is "video." ... "Video, pretty please."

I mean, you've seen this video, right?
