Is something critical being overlooked here, or is Stephenie Meyer, author of the "Twilight" series stuck about nine months behind?

If you didn't already know because you've been in a COMA for the better part of a year, Kristen Stewart cheated on Robert Pattinson last summer, and then apologized in a very public way. The fans were heartbroken, and Robert and Kristen's relationship has basically not been the same since, and everybody and their mother had their say about the state of the estranged couple's love for one another.

Except for Stephenie Meyer, that is. But maybe she just heard about all this right now, who knows. Whatever. Take it away, Stephenie Meyer:

"Here's the thing: there are some actors who are looking to be world famous, to be that household name, and although they might discover that there are a lot of negative things involved in that, it's what they want ... That's what makes it kind of ironic and tragic.''

Got that? That's what makes this whole thing ironic and tragic - not that a a family was split apart by a frivolous affair, and not that two people who were once so close ... well, aren't anymore, but that there are some actors who are looking to be world famous, and they become world famous. OK? Make sense?
