NEW MUSIC: Miley Cyrus Can't Be Tamed or Stopped or ANY of That, Guys

6/3/2013 7:00 AM PDT
You know what, friends? Miley Cyrus has been posting about her new single -- "We Can't Stop -- pretty much non-stop for the last few weeks, but today is the day, guys, and if you thought for a hot second that you just might escape this day without hearing "We Can't Stop" or hearing about "We Can't Stop," then you have this thing that you might need to Google, folks, and it's called "reality."

Miley's literally on Ryan Seacrest's show right now -- right now! OMFG #WECANTSTOP! -- talking about her new single, which is here! It's here, guys!

Want to hear some more MOAR MOAR things Miley has to say about her single? Here's one:

"This song really says where I am in my life right now."

Which is interesting, because this is a thing that Miley actually says in the song:

"We can kiss who we want
We can screw who we want"

And oh snap! Here it is!

It's overprocessed at best, anticlimactic at its worst. But hey! It's Miley just being Miley, guys! Thoughts?

I am actually really surprised by how much I like this.

I mean, this is not the first time that she's caught me off-guard. It's a trend, really, starting with See You Again in 2008.

I don't love this THAT much, but I do appreciate it. It's definitely way better than that song that Liam apparently liked so much.

It's okay- it sounds like she's trying to sound like a mix Rhianna&RB, I can't stand Rhianna's voice.

I hate to admit it, but it's not bad actually. Kind of a grower. But I agree with whatev, she is sounding a lot like Rhianna

I want to smack my brain for thinking that although its clear she wants to be Rihanna, there are worse songs than this

After watching Miley's "Backyard Sessions" (Holy crap! She's pretty damned good!), I listened to this release with an open mind. If Rihanna came out with this it'd be a big hit and no one but Rihanna-haters would have a single bad thing to say about it.

It's catchy, it sounds good, has a good beat, there is nothing wrong with this at all. Over-processing is not even an issue, who isn't nowadays? Rihanna? Ha! Give me a break.

This song sounds like a *bad* rihanna impersonator. How much longer is Miley going to try and convince us that she "parties all night" or whatever ridiculous image she is trying to project. We all know that she never sat at the cool kids' table. All that aside the song is terrible.

Miley Cyrus CAN'T sing, her voice is auto tuned up the a$$! These lyrics sound like they were written by a 12 year old. Miley's looks are so f*cking mediocre and she tries so hard to be "cool" it's painful.

She's a wanna be Rhianna. Guess she thinks she isn't that relevant.
