All of LeAnn Rimes' New Songs Really ARE About Brandi Glanville

6/4/2013 9:00 AM PDT, by
Do you know what today is? Today is the day that LeAnn Rimes gives the world the beautiful gift of her brand new album, "Spitfire." It's also the day that LeAnn begins to assault the world with interviews, tweets, and appearances, all in the name of promotion (the difference between this assault and her usual assaults, by the way, is that this time, there's a soundtrack). It's probably going to get bad, guys. Take care of yourselves.

To celebrate this very special occasion, let's review this new interview, all right? You're guaranteed to roll your eyes at least a zillion times.

LeAnn on her country cred:

“My life is one very large country song. What I’ve lived in the last four years is country music at its finest.”

On her very brave new album:

“Someone said to me yesterday that this album is like taking a knife and stabbing myself in public. And it’s true — I’m letting everyone watch while I rip my guts out. There was not an ounce of me left to put on this record. It was the most fearless I’ve ever been, in anything that I’ve ever done. After people have written my life for me for the last four and a half years — and it doesn’t matter whether it’s true or not, it’s what sells the most magazines that week — this was the first time I could dig into my emotions and write from this perspective, and not have to apologize for being human. A lot of people don’t see me as that, and haven’t for a long time.”

She actually thinks she's been quiet up until now:

“It’s not scary to put this record out ... people have twisted lies for so long. At least they have the truth to twist now. It feels very freeing because I’ve been so quiet and bit my tongue so many times, and it came out through my music, which felt like the appropriate way.”

“As a parent now, I want these kids to be kids as long as they can. I really enjoy my stepsons. I go out on the trampoline and jump around with them, and it’s awesome! They give me an excuse to have a childhood that I never got to have.”

Oh gosh, guys, isn't this going to be fun? Aren't you just so excited on what all the press for this new album is going to bring? Because you really, really should be.

"Fearless" is a word I would use to describe a fireman who ran into a burning building to save a child. "Spitfire" is a word I would use to describe someone who stood up to a bully and wouldn't back down. Those aren't words I would use to describe someone who is suffering the consequences of their own lack of moral character.

Amen to everything you just said

Fearless? Hahahahaha! Cowardly is more like it. Stupid, ignorant, adulterer, liar, cheater, scumbag. Those words describe her. Don't know who this fugly chick is listening to but they are seriously blowing smoke up her ass. She is an adulterer who is obsessed with her husband's ex. She calls herself a parent?? Very weird. She has no idea what it is to be a parent. Very strange. She is at most a fourth wheel to Eddie and his kids. She should really be embarassed about what she has done. How shameful that you would cheat with a married man and contribute to the breakup of his family. What kind of self respecting woman would do that? None!

This article is so ridiculous and a flat out judgement of her personal life. I just heard the album and it's fantastic! It isn't fair to say that "every song" is about BG. Anyone who takes the time to listen to her work can see that it isn't the case. I recommend that people listen and form their own opinions instead of jumping on the hate bandwagon.

She is nothing but a HOMEWRECKER.. I wouldn't pay a dime to hear her sing.

she makes me almost as sick as traci babel in westerville, oh. they're both homewrecking skanky sluts who never cared about what their selfish actions cost anybody else. you tramps call yourselves a "mother"? traci will never be a woman of character in my child's life as leann will never be to her step sons. they both make me vomit

This Brandi/Leann crap has gotten so old. If Leann sneezes it's out that she did it just like Brandi. Get over it.

just my opinion

FYI - you can't wreck a home if it isn't already broken! I really could do without all of this back and forth drama between them, however, I am sure she didn't go out looking to ruin both of their marriages, it is just something that happens when your current relationships aren't in the right place. I try to stay out of the drama but to me it seems like Brandi is the one that starts the majority of the back and forth crap. I think LeAnn has been a great step-mother to those kids. I think Brandi should actually give her more credit for being a great "mother" to them when she can't be. From the samples I have heard on amazon of all of the songs, it sounds like a really good CD.

There are only three songs that seem to be about Brandi. Spitfire, A Waste is a Terrible thing to Mind & Just a Girl Like You. Waste is the only decent one.

ugh, she just reminds me of a homewrecking skanky ho like traci babel in westerville. they're both sluts & don't have any rights to call themselves a "mother". unless it's "mother f***ers"!

She keeps crying victim but yet keeps firing over the fence. You're a step parent sweetie, regardless of your feelings regarding Ms.Glanville (and I have some choice ones) - the "Mom" is the one who got fat and shed blood.

The album didn't even debut in the top 10. It's not going to get press.
