Drake Just Opened a Can of WTF on Chris Brown, Y'All
Guess who was in GQ recently! Drake! And hey -- guess who wasn't? Chris Brown, but it's probably just because Chris Brown is too busy pawing through dead artists' unreleased music and filming creepy music videos, but come now ... it's a tough job, and somebody has to do it.
In the interview, Drake talked about all the things you want to hear about (except the topic of Amanda Bynes, which is sad, because unless he's rapping, nobody really cares too much about what Drake has to say unless he's talking about Amanda, which never happens -- BOO), namely how he was connected to Rihanna and that club fight that went down last year where he and Chris traded broken bottles and injuries.
But tell us how you really feel about CB, Drake:
"I hear [Chris] has everything he could want now. I don't want my name to be synonymous with that guy's name. I really don't. I wish we could sit down, just like you and me are right now, and talk it out man-to-man. But that's not going to happen."
Oh man. Yeah, everything he could want as in waffling back and forth between Rihanna and Karrueche Tran, right? Of course. It probably is everything Chris Brown could ever want.
But tell us how you feel about Chris's relationship with your friend, Rihanna, now, OK?:
"It's embarrassing, the amount of media coverage …Two rappers fighting over the woman. He's not even a rapper, but still, it's the last way you want your name out there. It distracts from the music. But he's made me the enemy, and that's the way it's gonna stay, I guess ... If I think about it too much, I feel it wrapping around my foot, like I get a feeling it could end really badly. Like, it gets really dark."
Of course it does, Drake. It's not a far stretch of the imagination that basically anything having anything to do with Chris Brown could get nasty and out of hand pretty quickly.
You do have to admire him, though (Drake that is, not Chris). For a 26-year-old rapper who has unbalanced child stars asking for a vagina-murdering, he sure is well-spoken, huh?
