A Tupac Musical is Exactly What the World Needed But Never Knew to Ask For!

Did you ever think you would live to see the day that a Tupac musical would come to life? Probably not, because who would have even thought to write a musical featuring Tupac's great songs? But, thank heavens, someone did decide to bring the glory of Tupac to the world of theatre. And if that's not the best news you've heard all day, then man, you must have heard some really great news.

The show is called "Holler If Ya Hear Me," and while the songs are all Tupac, the story isn't based on Tupac's life or anything. No, the story is about two kids growing up in some fictional city, they just use Tupac's masterful words to tell their own tale. Tupac's mom is producing it, and while it's being workshopped right now, the idea is for it to come to Broadway for the 2013-14 season.

While this is truly fantastic all on its own (Tupac forever, guys), this is also exciting because it could open the door for people to create musicals using other rapper's songs. And not one of you can say with a straight face that you wouldn't go see the Kanye West musical, not a one, so don't even try it.
