Quotables: Don't Ever Do That Again, Kelly Clarkson

11/22/2013 1:00 PM PST, by Sarah Taylor
“I was single for almost seven years. Every Christmas, it was like, ‘Seriously, I’m still pathetically alone? Awesome. I’m still telling people I’m okay with it? I’m not.’”

--Kelly Clarkson in a recent interview about how she viewed herself as "pathetic" on an annual basis because she remained single for 7 consecutive years.

... Girl, stop. You have everything. You kind of are everything, too. You've got the amazing voice, the super personality, the adorable looks, the doting husband, and now you're expecting a little one, and you got the news just in time for Christmas. You're a walking cliche for everything good and wholesome and awesome, Kelly. Don't sweat it that things didn't turn out on your timetable like you thought they would, OK?

Love you, girl!

Girls like Kelly are those that never got attention from guys. I have a friend like that, so whenever she actually did get a guy to be with her, she hung on for dear life--everything was about that guy. That's what it sounds like here--get a guy, no longer "pathetically alone", and get knocked up so you can be tied to him forever. That's the ticket!

The chubby ones will never win.

Like I said on GossipingPens.com, we have literally heard about every step of Kelly’s relationship with Brandon Blackstock. When they started dating she kept talking about how she was waiting for a proposal, then when they got engaged she was talking about how she “has kids now” (Brandon has 2 children from a previous marriage) and that she cooks for everyone, then she would talk about her upcoming wedding, then the wedding came, then talking about trying to get pregnant, now pregnancy. I mean we know this kind of thing sells magazines and we understand her happiness, but there HAS to be something else she can think of to talk about. Kelly became really annoying the second she started dating this guy and was immediately screaming about him being “the one” and how they were going to get married. We just really, really hope it works out – we cannot stress that enough – because she seems to have invested her entire existence on him.
