Joe Jonas' Sex and Drugs is the Only Sex and Drugs You Wanna Hear About This Morning
Wow -- who knew Joe Jonas had it in him to be so interesting and candid and revealing and frankly, down to earth? As a byproduct of the Disney machine, lots of people probably thought that this day would never come, but it has, and nobody is more surprised than yours truly. Except for maybe Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato, both of whom Joe was really, really honest about and discussed some alleged drug use at the age of 14 and 15 years old. Boom:
"The first time I smoked weed was with Demi and Miley. I must have been 17 or 18. They kept saying, “Try it! Try it!” so I gave it a shot, and it was all right. I don’t even smoke weed that often anymore. ... "
Oh, all right. See, to an innocent passerby, that might sound like a harmless comment -- Joe was 17 or 18, which is definitely older than some people who experiment with recreational drugs, and ... but wait. Aren't Miley and Demi both 3 years younger than Joe? Is Joe saying that Miley and Demi were smoking pot at the tender young ages of 14 and/or 15, perhaps? Whoa, guys.
Here's Joe on taking off his purity ring:
"We decided to take the rings off a few years ago. I lost my virginity when I was 20. I did other stuff before then, but I was sexually active at 20. I’m glad I waited for the right person, because you look back and you go, 'That girl was bats--- crazy. I’m glad I didn’t go there'."
And finally, Joe on Taylor Swift, maybe?
"I genuinely don’t have any resentment against any of my exes. So I’m not going to disparage anyone I was in a relationship with—only I might put it in my music a little bit, and hint at it, and tease it here and there, just enough for the fans and the people who really know the story. But I’m not going to openly say, “Yeah, actually, this person is a bitch, and she did this to me.” I don’t feel the need to do that to sell records."
One thing is certain -- Joe Jonas is about to get mad interesting, so you better just buckle in and watch the glory unfold quote by quote, friends. It's about to get real.
