We never really talk about George Clooney around here, mostly because he's too busy making delightful movies and being impossibly handsome to get into any real scandals. But he just sat down and had a little chat with Esquire, and he started a brand new little scandal by revealing how he avoids starting scandals. If that's a little confusing, then here, just read his quick and catty statement:

“I think anyone who is famous is a moron if they’re on Twitter. It’s just stupid.”

Dang, right? George does have a point, sort of -- there are a lot of celebrities who complain about a lack of privacy but then hop on Twitter to tell millions of people every single idiotic detail of their days (what's up, LeAnn Rimes?), but then there are celebrities who just tweet to connect with their fans or to promote whatever they've got going on. Social media isn't all nipples and cat fights, you know.

Basically, George shouldn't knock it until he tries it. Which he definitely should do, by the way. Can you imagine the majesty of a steady stream of George Clooney twitpics? Oh, be still our beating hearts!
