Quotables: Joey Lawrence is Provoking a Sleeping Lion Who Doesn't Even Know Who He Is

"It's pretty crazy because 15, 17 years later Kanye was rocking a red and black flannel around his waist in Paris during the Louis Vuitton show over the summer. Sure enough People or Us Weekly said, 'Kanye is rocking his Joey Lawrence in Paris'. ... I'm sure he loved that, the fashion icon that he is! He'd be like, 'No, this is not Joey. Joey who?'"

--Joey "Whoa" Lawrence on Kanye West's latest style, and how he thinks Kanye, like, totally ripped it off. What Joey's not realizing, though, is that his style was indigenous to the 90s, and most of us were there in some way, shape, or form.

We love you, Joey, and ABC Family's "Melissa and Joey" is probably one of the best, most underrated shows on TV (STOP JUDGING ME), but what else are you going to try and take credit for next --  Pogs? Pokemon? Maybe grunge music as a whole and Claire's discount jewelry boutique, too?

Do you read? He's not saying Kanye ripped him off. The media called it the Joey Russo. He is just commenting on it. He is even making a joke of it. "Joey who?"
