There, We Said It: Shia LaBeouf is Worse Than Kanye West

Oh, friends, don't you just feel so terrible for poor Shia LaBeouf? Shia LaBeouf, who has suffered so much in his plagiarism scandal. Shia, who was just inspired enough by a comic by Daniel Clowes to steal the idea, images, and huge chunks of dialogue from it for his own short film. And who do you think is getting all the hate in this situation, Daniel Clowes, the man whose work was so good that it was just begging to be stolen, or Shia, who just wanted to make some art? It's Shia, guys. And he feels bad.

Here are some things that he tweeted earlier today: These were all published several hours ago, so maybe Shia got too choked up to continue, or maybe he got some "inspiration" by checking out some other comic and had to "work" on something immediately. We don't know. What we do know, however, is that Shia still needs to get a damn grip, preferably right the eff now. Is that ever going to happen though?

A thief is a thief. He's untrustworthy, he's soulless and dead inside. This guy's slow dark slide is going to be something to watch. Like an animal in a forgotten trap, except Shia's trap is alcohol and a raging ego that allowed him to claim someone elses art as his own. All the way through the idea, the writing, the production, the filming, signing off on the credits, marketing and the previews. An untrustworthy man is an ugly, ugly thing. How do you lie to yourself and the world like that?
