Oh Look, Lady Gaga Still Stinks of Hypocrisy

What we have right here is a brand new Versace ad that Lady Gaga just shared with us on Twitter, set up next to a regular old selfie that she shared a little while back. Anybody notice anything different? No, of course, there's the difference between a professional photo shoot and a photo you take of yourself, but doesn't it look like she had just a little extra help looking different? Like perhaps she had a little help from her old friend, Photoshop?

So, uh, guess all that claptrap about being "born this way" was just a bunch of nonsense, huh? It's probably not that hard for her to promote self love and speak out against bullying when she can get a slimmer nose, plumper lips, and all kinds of other tiny little "fixes" in any photos she wants, right? Yep, what great messages to send to the millions of people who, for whatever reason, look up to her. Just great, great, great.

Nothing about her appearance has anything to do with how she was born. Maybe she was born a selfish fame monger but that's not her nose or her hair color or hair for that matter. She's stolen 95 percent of what she presents from underground culture and people considered pop icons of the past. Her music is formulated off of old Madonna hits. She's really just an overgrown high school musical theater student who envies everyone. Her skills are few and basic. If she's a musical genius why did it take 12 producers to make art flop? Musical geniuses don't call other people to make their music for them. That's how you know you are looking at someone calling themselves a genius who isn't. Style icons don't hire stylists and so on.

You don't have to have tons of money to have your photos photoshopped. It's free to learn. On the other hand, you pretty much can't be a model in an ad and tell them "oh, but you're not allowed to photoshop this." It's pretty much automatically done. So give her a break.

(1) She didn't create the Versace ad. (2) Her nose looks different in the photos because the selfie was shot with a wide-angle lens, which makes closer objects (her nose) look bigger, and the ad was shot with a longer lens. (3) If you want to whine about her "alterations", how about picking on legitimate and obvious examples such as: (a) she wears make-up, (b) she wears clothing, (c) she wears jewelry, (d) she has piercings, (e) she has tattoos, (f) she shaves, plucks, wears deodorant, etc., etc., etc. (4) I fail to see what any of that has to do with speaking out against bullying, or singing a pro-LBGT song. You come off as being desperate to find something about Lady Gaga to criticize. And by no means am I saying that Lady Gaga is perfect. She's human, so of course she has flaws and make mistakes. My point is that if you're so eager to criticize something about her, maybe you could pick something real. Instead of that she was made to look good in an ad.
