Kate Winslet
is pretty darn incredible, right? Of course she is. Sure, she has some slip ups here and there, like, for instance, naming her son Bear, but for the most part, she is supremely amazing. And that is precisely why you need to read this interview she just did with Glamour, friends. For the pure, unadulterated amazingness.

On giving her son her last name:

"We haven't ever really had that conversation; it was always going to have my name. Mia and Joe [her other children] have it as part of their name, so it would be weird if this baby didn't. Of course we're not going to call it RocknRoll. People might judge all they like, but I'm a f---ing grown-up."

On losing her baby weight:

"Having just had a baby, I'm not going to be thinking about my arse."

On the criticism she received for having three children with three separate husbands:

“No one has a right to comment on anyone’s life or the choices I do or don’t make. It’s very easy to be judgmental until you know someone’s truth. People have no idea at all. It baffles me, truly, that you can publicly treat a person like that. It’s not very nice. I’m really sorry to the nation’s press that I fell in love and got pregnant; I do apologize if you deem that irresponsible.”

You tell 'em, Kate. You tell 'em all. Hopefully we can get you some kind of formal award for that "having just had a baby, I'm not going to be thinking about my arse" comment. Thanks for being a beautiful inspiration for all the whole world.

The problem is that people do not give everyday people passes for having multiple kids with multiple dads and she is held to a standard because she makes a fortune doing so. It's not healthy for the kids. It's that simple this isn't about her it's about those kids that don't get to see their Dad's. She's a public figure it makes her life public fodder. She needs to get over it.

There is NOTHING wrong with choosing to have a child with someone you love and expect to stay with. People have no business judging people whose life choices in no way affect them.

Do you really care what I think ??? really Miss Winslet , I rather doubt it, so why don't you be honest? like for instance this answer makes more sense to me..... I make a few million bucks for just about every movie I make, the 3 kids will grow up and live , as do I, in extreme wealth, so I really could care less what anyone thinks be it deemed ' right' or 'wrong'..... that is refreshing and probably closer to the truth.

OOPS ...Forgot why she cannot get that close to the truth, she would be risking a loss of a few ticket purchases etc. I am not being mean or cynical but I do think truthful , it is just the way it is.

And hopefully we can get YOU a formal award for writing an article that isn't wholeheartedly annoying. I suppose it's all the quotes.

Too grown up to give her baby the stupid last name of her husband, yet she names her son Bear!

Kate says this when people criticize her:
"No one has a right to comment on anyone’s life or the choices I do or don’t make. It’s very easy to be judgmental until you know someone’s truth. People have no idea at all."

But yet gives this quote about someone else:
"You hear horror stories where you think, 'God, who’s looking after these people and why does it seem like they’re losing their way?' I mean, you think about someone like Miley Cyrus, and I said to my daughter the other day, 'I’m this close to opening my mouth about what’s going on with that girl'. Who is actually saying, 'Stop for a second, what do you want, who are you?'"

So she's THIS CLOSE to commenting on Miley Cyrus (who I am in no way defending), but how about just keep your trap shut altogether? Commenting, without commenting, I guess?!
