“People choose to look past love and spew hate. I get called ‘white man’s whore.’
What I’ve learned, honestly, is people who are saying this, it’s their issue, it’s their hate. As long as you don’t pass that along and be a part of that hate, you can be a change in the world. And that’s the reason why, honestly, I chose to speak of it. My father is very proud of me, my mother is very proud of me, and also interracial couples are very proud of me. It was very important to voice it, but at the same time move on from it and focus on positivity from now on.”

--Tamera Mowry on her husband, Adam Housley, who happens to be white.

It's just ... yes. When you watched "Sister, Sister," you just knew that Tia and Tamera had good heads on their shoulders, didn't you? And this little statement, this strong stance against hate -- hate for one of the most idiotic reasons possible, even -- just proves us right. She is indeed a goddess, so let us appreciate her as such.

Great Statement. My husband and I dated for 2 years and have been married for 8 years. We have encountered the hate, stares and well wished. Even had people tell us not to have children because they would be an abomination. We have always approached it that it's their problem their hate and issues not ours.

I remember watching the reality show and hearing her say that. Heart breaking for sure, but the fact she said it was their hate and didn't reply with hate back speaks volumes. I see a cute couple with a beautiful baby boy.

Definitely, girl. :) What we say is a reflection of ourselves, not a reflection of whoever we are talking about...
