Taylor Swift's Self-Righteousness is Getting Really Nauseating

Well, this is disappointing. Because, see, Taylor Swift is so adorable and so wonderful when she's just out and about, wearing the cutest fashions and singing her catchy songs and whatnot. But then, every once in a while, she opens up her mouth and reveals that she can be a weird, catty, annoying person inside that precious person's body. And that's exactly what happened in this new Glamour interview.

Like this part, where she talked about how she's better than other pop stars because she can keep her clothes on and sing every single detail about personal relationships instead:

"I find it relatively easy to keep my clothes on because I don't really feel like taking them off. It's not an urge I have. For me 'risky' is revealing what really happened in my life through music. Risky is writing confessional songs and telling the true story about a person with enough details so everyone knows who that person is. That's putting myself out there, maybe even more than taking my shirt off."

So she makes a point of making sure everyone knows which celebrity she's tearing apart while she puts herself on a pedestal? That's, uh, cool, I guess. What's also "cool" is her approach to arguing in relationships:

"Silence speaks so much louder than screaming tantrums. Never give anyone an excuse to say that you're crazy."

That quote probably speaks for itself, so let's move right along to some more advice:

"I think everyone should approach relationships from the perspective of playing it straight and giving someone the benefit of the doubt. Until he establishes that this is a game. And if it's a game, you need to win. The best thing to do is just walk away from the table."

You win that game, Taylor. Don't give anyone an excuse to say you're crazy. You're so great because you try to ruin careers when a guy turns out to not be your soulmate. Awesome. Sounds great, girl. For sure.

She's hot. I wish she would talk less and take her clothes off more.

Are you a tramp Emily? You have to be. All of these creepy pop stars who have to take their clothes off are horrible people. Look at Beyonce. She's nothing but a trashy whore now. Her crap won't sell without porn being included. You should be happy there's someone out there who isn't a tramp like Miley, Gaga, Beyonce and even Katy Perry.

Buy a new dildo Emily, cause we all know you don't get laid. Why would any man want to go out with a bitch like you.

I think what she is saying is completely refreshing. Too many young girls think they have to be naked to be interesting. (cough--MILEY--cough)

Seriously? This is the reason men think women can't be logically. No where in the statement about not taking her clothes off did she judge others for doing so, she simply said it wasn't something she was interested in. Nor did she single anyone out (I can almost instantaneously think of AT LEAST five celebrities this could be referring to).

There isn't even a story here, it's just you being judgmental and bitter because she's got her head screwed on straighter and her shit more together than you could ever hope to.

She was answering questions that the interviewer asked. What's the big deal? What a SENSELESS article

She never said that she was better than other pop stars because, she didn't take her clothes off. She merely said she didn't have the urge to take her clothes off. Where do you come off trying to change or imply what was said. And, it was an interviewer's question in the first place. Don't try to twist the words, here. Taylor feels alright with not having to take her clothes off. That is all she said. Stop implying further things

For someone her age, who lives in the limelight, to have her head on straight is pretty refreshing. You may not agree with what she's done, but whose career did she ruin? She's very talented and not out for attention all the time. Considering her counterparts in the pop industry, that's pretty amazing.

I'm glad Taylor feels so empowered through her music and not through the farce that other young pop stars have adopted (i.e. basically putting their vadges on display) BUT, while these comments are relatively sound, hasn't done much of anything to EXHIBIT that 'don't call me crazy' behavior.
You know, like...
Dating people for a few weeks, realizing they aren't right for her and then acting like she lost a great love of her life.
Calling out these people in the middle of award shows.
Constantly taking to social media to brand these individuals as man-whores.
I mean really, I love her and I think she's a great role model for very young girls, but the fact of the matter is that Taylor Swift is...23, 24?...with the emotional maturity of a 14 year old.
Her holier-than-thou 'tude is therefore a little obnoxious...lovely as she may be.

Taylor Swift Isn't Hot With Or Without Clothes ... And She's Got A Seriously Shitty Personality, Judge For Yourselves...
