Kylie Jenner Needs A Break, Bless Her Heart
Kylie Jenner, she of the massively inappropriate selfies, has filed an official request for privacy via Twitter. Let's review it first, then we'll discuss:
when people think they know me <— Kylie Jenner (@KylieJenner) March 20, 2014
I made the decision to keep as much as my life as personal as possible while continuing the reality show— Kylie Jenner (@KylieJenner) March 20, 2014
I'm 16 and still wanna be a kid sometimes— Kylie Jenner (@KylieJenner) March 20, 2014
So what I'm trying to say is there's a part of me you don't see so don't go judging people if u haven't walked a mile in their shoes— Kylie Jenner (@KylieJenner) March 20, 2014
On one hand, I totally feel for Kylie. She's been on television since before she went through puberty, and she didn't have a say in it. She was given this career, or whatever it is, without choosing it. Her older sisters and her parents wanted to share their lives with the world via "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," and she really didn't have a choice but to go along with it. It's actually surprising how graceful she is about this request, because it's not like we wouldn't understand if she was angry.
On that note it's international day of happiness 💕 I hope everyone has an awesome day— Kylie Jenner (@KylieJenner) March 20, 2014
But on the other hand, come on now. You don't post bikini selfie after bikini selfie to your nearly eight million followers if you want privacy. You don't document your life on Vine if you want privacy. If she wants to be a kid, obviously that's understandable, but she has to understand that before now, she hasn't really seemed like the private type.
We'll support you if you want more privacy, girl, just make up your mind, OK?
