More Updates from The Most Annoying Divorce of All Time
Just when you thought you knew every single detail of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's "conscious uncoupling," well, SURPRISE, you haven't! No, you will continue to hear new details about it every single day for the rest of your life, because it is Gwyneth Paltrow's life mission to make everything unbearably obnoxious. Aren't you just so excited?!
The latest rumor is that Gwyneth and Chris are still hanging out and still acting pretty married. Here's what a source told People about how they acted at Robert Downey Jr.'s birthday party:
"They were lovey-dovey and playful. They were with the kids, they held hands and laughed and joked as a family. It was not the typical picture of a divorce. If the reports had not come out you would think, 'Wow, they are a perfect couple.' Gwyneth was in such good spirits. She had her hair pulled back in a ponytail and she looked amazing. [Chris] seemed so engaging and nice. He looked like he'd been working out. He's ripped! Nobody knew what was going on with the them. It was like a shock. It felt like they have a genuine love for each other, to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if a report came out in a couple of weeks that they are back together."
And here's a similar story that a source told E! News:
"They are getting on so well together, and still spending a lot of time together. It's kind of like the separation was never announced, you wouldn't even know that they are a couple that are going their separate ways. They have been spending some nights together still and are both still living at the same house in LA. It's kind of crazy how amicable this whole thing is. It's really interesting to spend time with them because there is no awkwardness at all. It's the oddest thing, they are acting as if they are still together."
Hey, here's a wild idea: if you're going to get divorced, how about you actually get divorced? What happened to the good old days when a couple could split and then ... you know, split? Does Gwyneth really need to be this special? Because it's getting a little bit ridiculous.
