Posthumous Quotables: Even Dead, Cobain Hasn't Lost His Sass
"Do you, Kurt Cobain, take Courtney Michelle Love to be your lawful shredded wife even when she's a b-tch with zits and siphoning all your money for doping and whoring ..."
--Kurt Cobain, in a newly-released note found in his wallet around the time of his death back in 1994. The note is obviously a parody, or a mockery, of his original wedding vows to Courtney Love, and wow ... wonder what Courtney has to say about this, other than probably lots of ranting and possible lies.
See, in Kurt's original suicide letter, Courtney was noted as a "goddess" wife who "sweat ambition and empathy," which is clearly a total departure from just being a "b-tch with zits" who bleeds the bank accounts of men dry for less than savory actions.
Also? The handwriting is totally different on both notes. Unless Courtney wrote one, and Kurt wrote the other -- we'll let you decide who wrote which for the sake of speculation -- then Kurt spent most of his life perfecting two entirely opposite penmanships. See here and here for comparison.
