We Basically Just Need to Start Cloning Pink, OK?
It's not a secret that Pink is pretty great and all, but her most recent interview with Who Magazine takes that an even further, nuder step: Pink bares nearly every inch of her beautiful body, and talks self-esteem, image, and health.
Take it away, Pink!
"[While growing up as a gymnast], Instead of thinking, 'Am I skinny?' I grew up thinking "Am I fast enough? How can I use my body?' ... I'm a person who could always lose a couple here and there but I would rather be strong than bony. ... [Though I don't ever] think [I'll] feel pretty."
First of all, Pink, stop. Stahp. You're gorgeous, and you're unique, and your uniqueness only makes you that much more gorgeous. And this bit about preferring to be healthy and fast and flexible rather than conforming to other folks' standards of beauty, it's refreshing to hear that you'd rather be strong than anything else.
Prerogative, guys -- isn't it inspiring? Isn't it nice when we can all just sit around and hold hands and appreciate one another for who we've become as people?
