Yeah, This is Not What a 13-Year-Old Child Should Sound Like

Willow Smith is being allowed to grow up way too fast -- and hanging with the wrong (and age-inappropriate) crowd + generally absent parents will only end up being a big, emotional mess for the 13-going-on-hipster twentysomething young girl.

During a recent interview, Willow was asked all sorts of questions about relatively reasonable things: her child career, and regular old things that all kids are into, like music, and sometimes fashion, when you're a teen. All of the answers, guys, were concerning. Every single one of them.

Here, what she said about her favorite accessory:

"[A pair of heels from Karl Lagerfeld.] They make me feel like I'm a sophisticated Amazon woman."

On her style:

"My style is who I am all the time, and who I am always changes."

On her burgeoning music career:

"I have enough songs to make an album, but most of the songs I don't like. ... It's going to be something outlandish, something that nobody can imagine, something that comes from me and only me. Something we need right now."

It's interesting to listen to her speak -- and tweet: one of her more memorable gems was about the government and French fries, and said this: "We all need to learn how to harmoniously live on this planet without frying it like those systematic French fries the government feeds us") -- but it's upsetting to know that it's coming from the mouth of someone who's not even close to being an adult, or maybe even a true, chemical adolescent yet. This is still a child, y'all.

Can somebody get some baby dolls and Tonka trunks and video games for this girl to play with for a bit ASAP? Because she needs something to ground her a little bit more, and you just know it's not gonna be Will and Jada, for shame.

Who really cares if she is growing up fast? She is more sophisticated at 13 than you guys will ever be. Her parents seem to be doing an amazing job. Let her be who she wants to be and not what you think a child should be. Find something better to do than talking shit about everyone.

OMG she's intelligent...you should not wait to have certain age to express what you think in the right way...CALM DOWN! what's you're age? 'cause you should start taking some example from this girl.

What do you expect when the parents allow a child to do whatever they want. Not to mention, they're Scientologists. .

Tongue rings are for giving oral. Or are we being sexual deviants Jada? I know I'm being judgmental but she's just 13.

Ummmm... I'm teach high school students, and her answers are actually really articulate and intelligent for a 13 year old. I'm unsure why FW is so offended. Seems like you guys are trying to create drama.

The next generation's Lindsay Lohan.
What responsible parent lets a 13 year old get a tongue piercing?

She looks like Will Smith in drag.

I have an irrational dislike of Jada Pinkett Smith. Therefore, if her spawn (both boy child and girl child) grow up to be the next Justin Bieber and/or Lindsay Lohen, good. Can't stand either kid, nor the mother, and my like for Will is fading fast.

What was so concerning to Sarah Taylor? The fact that a 13 year old has a better grasp of the English language than she does? Outside of the first comment about feeling like an Amazon woman (which by the way, she said 'feel like')

"My style is who I am all the time, and who I am always changes."

Sounds like Willow has a mature understanding of who she is and not someone trying to be someone they aren't like say,....a real journalist.

"I have enough songs to make an album, but most of the songs I don't like. ... It's going to be something outlandish, something that nobody can imagine, something that comes from me and only me. Something we need right now."

Personally, I think it is so cool that she wants to be something different musically and isn't copying someone else. When she puts something out, I would bet it is pretty decent.

I am sorry Sarah, I don't know of any thirteen year old children playing with dolls and tonka trucks??? Willow might be more mature than a lot of thirteen year old kids, but not shockingly so.

Why don't you try tracking down a real story instead of putting up ridiculous headlines that oversell your column in a major way! If you don't write your own headlines, I would watch out because someone is out to undermine your career. You have heard of Chicken Little? The boy who cried wolf? Sometimes I see a headline and know you wrote the article and then don't read it because the steak never lives up to the sizzle.

This article is full blown with who gives a shit?

The problem is she is being raised by left wing parents who say they want society to be free to think they way they want, but the truth is they fill a 13 year old head with propaganda.

I got a BJ once from a girl with tongue stud and it was clearly superior to without, so I appreciate her embracing the skills and tools necessary to orally service men.

This article, about a 13 year old girl who "sounds too smart", coming from a writer who uses "This is still a child, y'all." in an article.

Yea, shame on her for being smart.....

So you have an issue with a 13 year old who is too smart sounding? This coming from a writer who used "This is still a child, y'all." in this article.

Maybe you are just jealous?

I pray that you can muster up some empathy and recognize a corrected mistake. Sorry, Big Al. I'm just not into the shame culture. Wishing you all the best!

No way she's still a virgin.

They're Scientologists, correct? That's more likely to mess them up than is being a tad precocious. Scientology is full of "free spirits" who have control freak handlers working in the background to make sure they don't stray to far away from herd.

is you said this to jada's face she would knock your ass out..all 5 feet of her!!!! :)

PLEASE STOP REPORTING/PASSING JUDGEMENT ON CHILDREN. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE SHE IS A CHILD - and your comments are not on an interview you conducted. JUDGING CHILDREN IN THIS WAY IS INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS. adults are fair game, I suppose, but leave the fucking kids out of it you psycho
