It's About Time for Lana Del Rey to Get Over Herself

Look, Lana Del Rey used to be all right, I guess: she had that one decent song, and she was mysterious or whatever. But that time has passed, and now all we are left with is the most annoying girl in the world. And if you don't believe me, then check out some quotes from this interview she just did with Rolling Stone. Then you'll understand. You'll understand it all.

On how she feels:

"Well, I feel f---ing crazy. But I don't think I am. People make me feel crazy."

On how people take her music:

"I just don't want them to hear it at all. I'm very selfish. I make everything for me, kind of. I mean, every little thing, down to the guitar and the drums. It's just for me… I don't want them to hear it and think about it. It's none of their business!"

On that time that she said she wished she were dead in that interview:

"I find that most people I meet figure I kind of want to kill myself anyway. So, it comes up every time."

If she hates everything about being famous so much, there's a simple answer: stop being famous. If she doesn't want people to hear her music, then releasing three albums and doing interviews with magazines like Rolling Stone really isn't the way to go about that. And that thing where she's pissy about her "I wish I was dead" comment ... she said that. That was a statement that she made. Even if someone set her up to say it, you don't just form the words "I wish I was dead already" and say them without realizing what they mean or how they could be taken.

But hey, nobody buy Lana Del Rey's new album, OK? Because she doesn't want you to hear it. And don't support her or try to tweet at her or anything, because you're probably just making her feel crazy. Show some sense, all right? Because goodness knows Lana can't.

I've been following your website for over a year now and I'm so done with it now. You twist people's words and basically just write stories belittling celebrities for speaking their minds or having opinions that don't mesh with yours. This is by far the trashiest website around. I hope one day you can actually improve your writing by giving it substance, rather than simply putting down others.

That's the thing though. Lana doesn't want to be famous, she just wants to make music, and she's making it for herself. It's like her own personal therapy. I'm pretty fucking sure she feels crazy because of other people making her feel that way whenever she tries to do/make something for herself but then people jump right on and start judging her for it. She releases albums because she needs to make a living, I feel as if Lana just doesn't want anyone else to have an intimate connection with her songs in which she created for herself. It's like an artist painting a picture, it has its own personal meaning behind, everyone will see it and think the know how the artist was feeling all the while, the true meaning is being ignored. It's about time YOU got over YOURSELF; acting as if you're all high and mighty above someone else and making them feel insecure.

Life's a bitch when you're famous. Another idiot with their fake complaining about success.

No worries from me about your music, don't listen to it ever. Such bs from her mouth, if it's none of our business don't release your music to the public, go in a private room and knock yourself out singing to yourself. Make a living doing something else away from the eyes of the public, like the majority of us do in life.
