Can We Stop With the Exploitation Already?

Brittany Murphy was a lovely woman, and of course we loved her movies dearly, and she did have several odd circumstances surrounding her death ... but when is it going to be time to stop exploiting celebrities' deaths for cheap thrills?

Apparently not anytime soon, because Lifetime is releasing this movie about Brittany Murphy's life, and if we go by this trailer, it focuses on the bad parts, like her alleged drug use, her alleged emotional problems, and, of course, her mysterious death. Because why make a movie celebrating her when you could tear down her memory with overly dramatic depictions of rumors, right?

We would say that we expected better, but, sadly, that really wouldn't be the case.

Why? Because it would be boring.

Wow, they can't even get an actress that even resembles her. This looks horrible.

Really? You want to complain about exploiting celebrities? You wouldn't have a job if you didn't exploit celebrities dead or alive. Hipocrite much?
